Tradescantia spathacea is an upright rosette-forming plant with long narrow leaves. The ‘Concolor’ cultivar is a very rare, old type which has only just been reintroduced to the UK. The large foot-long leaves are pure olive green, with pale silvery undersides. It often forms small white flowers.
